If you experience bloating and acidity after meals, try these methods

Have you ever experienced fatigue, weakness, restlessness, or bloating, gas, and acidity after eating a full meal? If so, this may not only be a digestive system disorder but also an indication of an imbalance in the body's doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). Ayurveda offers some effective remedies to relieve these symptoms.

Change these habits:

  • Do not eat when you are not hungry.
  •  Do not eat too quickly or in excessive quantities.
  • Eat only until you are 3/4 full, and avoid drinking too much water during meals.
  • Do not sleep immediately after eating.
  •  Reduce your consumption of tea and coffee.

These remedies will be effective:

1. Triphala powder or Haritaki: Taking Triphala or Haritaki with lukewarm water before bed improves digestion.

2. Ginger and rock salt: Eating a small piece of ginger with a pinch of rock salt stimulates digestive fire and improves digestion.

3. Hingwashtak powder: Taking half a teaspoon of Hingwashtak powder and half a teaspoon of Avipattikar powder with lukewarm water after meals provides relief from gas, bloating, and indigestion.

4. Panchakarma: If the problem persists, you can consider Panchakarma therapy.

5. Yoga and Pranayama: Sitting in Vajrasana (Thunderbolt Pose) for 5-10 minutes after meals is extremely beneficial.

6. Fruits and salads: For breakfast, consume seasonal fruits in an amount of 10 grams per kilogram of your body weight.

If these problems still persist, Ayurveda offers many types of medicines according to the disease and the patient, such as Arogyavardhini Vati, Triphala Guggul, Panchasakar Churna, Trikatu Churna, Panchakol, Bhuvaneshwar, and various liver medications, which should be taken under the supervision of a physician.
