Sense and Savor Walk is much more than a simple walk. This walk focuses on awakening the senses. Sense means to experience through your senses and Savor means to feel it completely and enjoy it. In this walk, one has to try to connect with the environment around him at a deep level. Although this walk has its own pleasure in every season, but its fun in summer is something else. What to Sense and Savor

Walk slowly:

Walk comfortably, without hurrying, so you can focus on the things around you.

Use the senses Sight:

Notice the beauty of the surroundings. The texture of the leaves, the color of the sky, or the specialty of a flower.

Smell: Feel the smell of the environment. The scent of fresh grass, soil, or flowers.

Sound: Hear the chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves.

Touch: The wind touching. How does it feel to walk on soft grass?

Taste: If possible, enjoy fresh fruit or water.

Focus on objects: 

When you see something pleasant or beautiful, focus on it for a few moments. Feel that object completely, as if it is the only thing that matters at the moment.

Stay in the flow:

Move from one pleasurable experience to the next, like a bee going from one flower to another.

Enjoy the time:

Do this walk without hurrying and being completely in the present.

After walking, do self hug.

Self hug meditation should be done daily. This will make you feel safe. Stress will be reduced. Also, the mind will get peace. What can be a better way to give love and sympathy to yourself. Most people do not do self hugging.
The method is so easy
1. Sit comfortably or lie down.
2. Take a deep breath then exhale slowly.
3. Hug yourself. Just like you hug someone else.

Keep these things in mind

1. Take a walk only in the morning or evening. Try to walk in a garden, orchard or river bank, where cool breeze is felt. Do not walk too fast or slow.

2. When you are walking, take 2 slow deep breaths. Focus on the breath. Try to feel every breath.

3. While walking in summer, keep 3 bottles of water with you and keep drinking water at regular intervals. Drinking coconut water or fresh fruit juice gives you energy.

4. Wear light and comfortable clothes. Shoes should also be cushioned. So that your feet get comfort and there is no problem after a long walk.

5. Take care of the safety of your surroundings while walking. If you are going for a walk in summer, avoid getting too tired and understand the signals of your body.
