How it works
Whenever someone saves your number and has the Truecaller app on their phone, the app automatically stores your phone data. This is why the Truecaller app data on millions of people's phones is linked. If you don't want your name to appear in Truecaller's database, you can change it.
How to Change
If you want to change your name, you can do so through this app.
To change your name, first download the Truecaller app. Then, log in with the number that's displaying the incorrect name. After logging in, enter your correct name and verify it via OTP. Once your name is verified, Truecaller will display your correct name on that number.
How to Remove Names
To remove your name from Truecaller, go to the Truecaller website and unlist your number. First, open the app. Go to Settings. Go to the Privacy Center and deactivate your account. Then, click Yes on the confirmation prompt. Uninstall the app. Now, go to the Truecaller website and open the Unlist page and complete the process. The data is deleted within 24 hours.
