Take Special Care

  • Do not consume excessive amounts of protein, especially limit heavy protein intake such as chickpeas, kidney beans, and chickpeas.
  • Avoid non-vegetarian food and alcohol completely.
  • Do not consume excessive amounts of nuts or dairy products.
  • Drink plenty of water to flush out uric acid.

When uric acid levels are higher than 7

1. Giloy decoction and tablets -

Crush a 2-inch stem of Giloy and boil it in water. When the water is reduced to half, strain and drink. Giloy powder (5 grams) can also be taken by boiling it in a glass of water. Take Giloy Dhanvati tablets morning and evening on an empty stomach. Similarly, you can also take Gokhru and Guggulu.

2. Consuming Punarnava and Triphala

Punarnava helps cleanse the kidneys. It can be taken in tablet or powder form. Taking Triphala powder at night helps cleanse the stomach and flushes out toxins from the body, which helps reduce uric acid.

Important Precautions:

■Initially, take these for 15 days each, then get your uric acid level checked.

■If a person has other problems along with uric acid, choose medicines only after consulting a doctor.
