NEP and Skill Based Learning

The National Education Policy 2020 emphasizes skill-based learning. Under this, vocational education, multiple entry-exit and credit-based skill courses are being encouraged at the college level. However, the pace of these reforms is slow and their full implementation is yet to be done in most institutions.

Online Learning:

Take special interest in programming, data analytics, cloud computing and digital marketing. Use online platforms like Coursera, Udemy, edX, Google Career Certificates. The duration of these courses ranges from 4 weeks to 6 months.

Language skills:

Learn new languages ​​for global communication. Learning a new language is a major means of entering the global job market. Options like study abroad, multinational jobs, translation are available.

Soft skills:

Along with technical proficiency, soft skills like communication, teamwork, leadership and problem solving ability are equally important. Participate in college activities for these.

Internship:

These are in high demand in areas like digital marketing, content writing, web development and graphic design.

College education only provides degrees, but skill development creates the necessary platform for jobs and business.
