Watermelon: 

There has been a change in the size of watermelons as compared to earlier, because earlier families were large, now families are becoming limited, so the size was reduced by doing research according to the demand. The nutrition that was available in watermelon earlier, is the same even today. But we should consume it according to the season.

Banana: 

Today you will see only seedless bananas in the market, whereas earlier bananas used to have large and hard seeds. People did not like the banana with seeds, so the banana was made seedless by hybridizing two species. Banana is still considered a superfood if it is grown according to the weather and conditions.

Apart from these, many crops like brinjal, carrot, maize etc. have been hybridized according to demand and supply, but special attention has been paid to standard nutrients. When our agricultural scientists prepare any hybrid fruit-vegetable or grain, the nutrition protocol is fully followed in it. Although the use of pesticides in it is dangerous, but some strict laws should be made for this.

■If we talk about nutrition in food, then first of all we have to change our food habits in 1. Instead of taking supplements for micro nutrients, it is better to include a plate of fruits and vegetables in the salad in the diet.

■If a person eats 5 colors of fruits and vegetables throughout the day, then his life will increase by about 10 years. Prepare a plate according to the balanced quantity, in which 2/3 part should be fruits, vegetables and pulses and 1/3 other nutrients.

■Eat according to your daily routine and physical activity. For a normal person, 100 grams of fruits are sufficient in the diet for the whole day. Eating more will cause harm instead of benefit.
