These delicious dishes are made from moong dal
If dal is made at home then no one likes to eat it but if any dish is made from the same dal then everyone likes it so today I am telling you 2 recipes made from moong dal which you will like very much
1. Moong Dal Parantha
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Servings: For 2-3 people
Ingredients: Half bowl of coarsely ground moong dal, one and a half bowl of flour, half teaspoon of red chilli powder, one teaspoon of salt, half teaspoon of fennel, half teaspoon of turmeric, half teaspoon of whole coriander, half teaspoon of celery, half teaspoon of cumin, half teaspoon of garam masala, 1/4 teaspoon of asafoetida, 1 teaspoon of Kasuri methi, two teaspoons of oil
Method: Grind the lentils coarsely in a mixer and soak them in a bowl of water for two hours. Mix all the spices and soaked lentils in the flour. Add oil for kneading and mix well. Prepare the dough for parathas by adding water as per requirement. Keep the dough covered for 10 minutes. When the pan is heated well, bake the parathas. Pack only when it cools down.
2. Moong Dal Mishri Samosa
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Servings: For 4-5 people
Ingredients: Samosa layer: 4 cups flour, 1 tsp salt, 5 tbsp oil, 1 tsp celery
For filling: 4 cups washed moong dal, 50-60 raisins, 3 tsp coarse sugar candy, 1 tsp coarse black pepper, 4 tbsp oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 4 pinches of asafoetida, 1 tsp garam masala, 3 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tsp coriander powder, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
Method: Add salt and oil to the flour and mix.
Add water and knead hard. For filling: Grind the lentils coarsely. Heat 5 teaspoons of oil and add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Add lentils and the remaining ingredients. Fry the mixture on low flame. Remove from the flame. Let it cool. Roll out small flour puris. Give them a cone shape. Close them after filling. Keep them in the fridge for 10 minutes. Then fry them.
