Take care of children's health in these Methods

One of the reasons for children's immunity being weak is lack of water in the body, so feed them seasonal fruits.
Bright sunshine, hot winds and rising temperatures can affect the health of children. But nature has given us many natural gifts to deal with this season. These cool down the body heat as well as help in digestion. Let's know how to keep children healthy in the rising heat.

1. Keep children hydrated

Children's body loses water quickly in summer, especially when they play outside. Give them Vita-water (water made by mixing mint, lemon, sabja seeds and melon pieces), buttermilk, lassi, fruit smoothie, coconut water, sattu, phalsa sherbet, gond katira mixed khus or sandalwood sherbet, jaljira, lemonade and fresh watermelon juice regularly. These traditional drinks cool the body and also fulfill the deficiency of salt-water.

2. Feed cold and healthy snacks

Children's plate should have vegetables of different colors. The nutrients present in them are colored by the micro elements.
Delicious and cooling options made at home like curd-rice, lemon poha, cucumber-mint sandwich, fruit salad, frozen fruit lollies, shrikhand, mango rabri, kulfi with mango, lassi and sabja drinks will be liked by children and will also cool the body.

3. Protection from sunburn

Protect children's soft skin from sun rays. Apply natural sunscreen like coconut oil or aloe vera gel before going out of the house. Bathe children by adding neem leaves to water, this will cool the body.

4. Be careful of dehydration and heat stroke, do not let them play outside in the afternoon

If the child is sweating excessively, mouth is getting dry, dizziness is happening or he is feeling faint, then it can be a sign that he is in the grip of dehydration or heat stroke. Do not send them to play outside between 12 pm and 3 pm. Dress them in light, loose cotton clothes, make sure to wear a cap and glasses.

5. Stay away from street food, store food safely

In summer, outside food gets spoiled quickly, due to which children can get diseases like food poisoning, diarrhea, typhoid. Encourage children to eat clean, fresh home-made food. Keep food in a cool, dry place or in the fridge. Identify spoiled food immediately by seeing a change in its smell and texture and stop eating it.
