Laptop thin-light or normal, which one to choose?

Before buying a laptop, also consider its type...
Looking at thin and light laptops, it seems that they will give performance and will be easy to use, but do these expectations really come true? The design that looks smart at first, can become a problem later. In such a situation, normal size laptops can prove to be better. Know some weaknesses of thin-light laptops...

Small battery

Thin laptop means small battery. Companies try to improve it with good chips and software, but there is a limit to it. They work fine in light work like web browsing, but in heavy work like video editing, the battery gets drained quickly. Normal laptops have better life due to the space for a larger battery.

Low performance

Thin laptops have less space for cooling, due to which heat increases quickly and performance decreases. Some thin models do not even have a fan, due to which the speed may decrease in heavy work. Thin laptops with fans are slightly better, but the cooling system does not give high performance for a long time. A bigger cooling system is better in a normal laptop.

Less ports

Thin laptops lack ports. Companies remove necessary ports to make them look slim. A hub has to be bought to connect monitor, charging and USB drive together. Normal laptops have more ports (like USB, HDMI, and SD card slot), which makes them more convenient. So choose it according to convenience.

Repairing is difficult

In thin laptops, there is no option of upgrading many parts. Many parts are glued to the motherboard. This is the reason why there is no option of replacing them. The battery is glued with glue, which is difficult to replace and in normal laptops, it is easy to replace parts. Along with this, they last for a long time. So always keep these things in mind.

These problems also

Due to less space in the thin design, the travel of the keys is less, which spoils the fun of typing. The trackpad can be hard or less sensitive, which makes it difficult to work. Due to more space in a normal laptop, the keyboard is deeper and the trackpad is better, which is comfortable for long use. -
