- Gram flour – 200 grams (1 bowl)
- Salt - as per taste (half teaspoon)
- Baking soda – half teaspoon
- Red chilli – 1/4 teaspoon (as per taste)
- Ajwain - half teaspoon
- Oil – 4-5 spoons (for kneading)
- Oil – for frying fafda
Method
Method of making Fafda -
First of all, you have to take gram flour in a vessel and add salt, chilli, carom seeds, baking soda, oil etc. and mix all these things by adding water little by little.
In the same way as you knead the dough, knead it and keep it covered for half an hour.
After half an hour you have to knead the kneaded dough again and apply oil to make it smooth.
Now you have to take a wooden board and apply oil on it so that the gram flour does not stick to it later.
Now you have to make a ball of dough and place it on a wooden board and lengthen it with your palm from top to bottom. Now you have to separate that long piece of gram flour from the wooden board with the help of a knife.
In this way, you have to make a Fafda of all the gram flour and keep it in a smooth plate.
Now you have to heat oil in a pan to fry Fafda. And when the oil is hot, fry all the fafda.
Let the fafda cook till it becomes crunchy and then keep it in a plate and eat it with jalebi.
