For achieving a healthy, disease-free, and rejuvenated body, Maharishi Charak states in Ayurveda that Triphala is the supreme *Rasayana* (rejuvenating tonic). Triphala is composed of three ingredients: Yellow Harad (*Haritaki*), Baheda (*Bibhitaki*), and Amla (*Amalaki*). Take equal quantities of all three and grind them into a fine powder.

Consume According to the Season
Taking Triphala in accordance with the changing seasons is particularly beneficial:
1. Shravan–Bhadrapada: Take Triphala powder mixed with rock salt.
2. Ashwin–Kartik: Take Triphala mixed with sugar.
3. Margashirsha–Paush: Take Triphala mixed with dry ginger powder (*Sonth*).
4. Magha–Phalguna: Take Triphala mixed with powder of long pepper (*Chhoti Pipper*).
5. Chaitra–Vaishakh: Triphala should be taken mixed with honey.
6. Jyeshtha–Ashadha: During this season, taking Triphala with jaggery is beneficial.
Please Note:
Whichever accompanying substance is chosen to be taken with the Triphala powder, it should be mixed in a quantity equal to just one-sixth of a teaspoon.
