Fan Palm (Fountain Palm)

It looks very beautiful due to the fan-like shape of its leaves and fountain-like spread. It has two varieties - European and California Fan Palm.
Its leaves can be 40 to 60 inches long. For this, there should be soil with good drainage. Keep it in such a place in the house where it gets plenty of natural light. This plant can grow in sandy, clayey or any normal soil. Keep in mind that its roots can rot due to excessive watering.

Bottle Palm

The bottle palm enhances the beauty of gardens and homes due to its thick stem like a big bottle and bright green leaves.
This plant can grow up to a height of 10 to 12 feet. It looks very beautiful.
The specialty of the bottle palm is that it grows well even with less care. It should be planted in open sunlight in sandy or loamy soil with good drainage. Regular watering is necessary, but excessive watering should be avoided.

Fishtail Palm (Peacock Palm)

The leaves of the fishtail palm look like fish tail or peacock feather, hence it got this name. This plant can grow up to 10 to 12 feet high. Its green triangular leaves, strong stem and long life make it special.
The fishtail palm can be planted in both sunlight and partial shade. It needs fertile soil with good drainage. Water regularly. Avoid overwatering. It is beneficial to give organic fertilizer (vermi compost or leaf manure) every 6 months.

Ponytail Palm

Its plump, pitcher-like stem and curly green leaves make it special.
Keep it in semi-shade. If planted in a pot, drainage should be good. You can use a soil mixture like cactus or succulent plants. If you have normal potting soil, add sand or perlite.
