Turn off Adaptive Battery

Adaptive Battery feature controls the phone's battery consumption. It limits the apps that are used less. If the phone has a big battery and fast charging facility, then this feature can do more harm than good. It can slow down the phone's processing. To turn it off, go to Settings > Battery > Adaptive Preferences and turn off the Adaptive Battery toggle.

Increase processing speed

Most Android phones have an 'Optimized' mode set, which balances battery, performance and heat management. But if you use gaming or heavy apps, then this mode is not enough. To increase performance, search for 'Performance mode' or 'Processing speed' in Settings and set it to High.

Disable RAM Plus

Some phones have a RAM Plus feature, which uses a portion of the internal storage as virtual RAM. Storage speeds are much slower than RAM. This can affect performance. To turn it off, go to Settings Battery & Device care Memory RAM Plus and disable the toggle. Then restart the phone.

Reduce animation scale

Android phones have animations that play when you open apps, navigate menus, or switch screens. This makes the phone feel slow. To reduce the animation scale, go to Settings > About > Software information and tap 'Build number' seven times. Developer options will unlock. Then go to Settings > Developer options and set Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale to 0.5X or turn them off completely.

Control background apps

Many apps run in the background, syncing data and sending notifications. Too many apps running in the background can slow down your phone. To control this, go to Settings > Apps. Select an app and force stop it. Uninstall unnecessary apps, especially those you rarely use.
