Things You Will Need

Material :-

  • chilli powder
  • coriander powder
  • Mustard oil
  • Salt
  • Gram flour
  • Cumin
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Green chilly
  • Tomato
  • Ginger
  •   green coriander 

Method

First of all you have to wash taro leaves thoroughly with clean water.
and leave it to dry for some time

Now you have to take gram flour in a vessel, add red chilli powder, coriander powder, mustard oil and salt and make a paste.

  Prepare 4 to 5 colocasia leaves in pairs, apply gram flour mixture on the leaves and place them one above the other.

Make a roll by placing the leaves one above the other and tie this roll well with a thread.

  Now you have to heat water in a pan, when the water starts boiling then you have to put the roll in the water.

After boiling in water, you have to take them out and cut them into round pieces.

After this, you have to take mustard oil in a pan and deep fry those pieces in the oil.

Now after this we have to prepare the gravy. To make the gravy, grind onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies and tomatoes in a mixer and make a mixture.

Now you have to place the pan on the stove and put some oil in it. When the oil gets hot, add cumin seeds. Now you have to put the onion-garlic mixture in the oil and fry it well.

  After this, add salt, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and thicken the gravy.
Also add some water so that all the spices get cooked properly, add the taro leaves dumplings in the prepared gravy and let it boil for some time and add coriander on top.
