Method
Kachori is mainly eaten as breakfast. You can easily make kachori at home. Today I will tell you the recipe to make kachori.
To make kachori, first of all you have to soak urad dal in water overnight. In the morning you have to wash the lentils properly with clean water. Now you have to put two spoons of oil in a pan. Now put ginger paste, garlic paste and asafoetida in the pan.
After cooking for a while, put a bowl of gram flour and lentils in it. Now put all the spices on top of it and fry it on low flame for 5 to 10 minutes.
Now the lentils are ready to be filled in your Kachori.
Now you have to take two big bowls of flour and put four teaspoons of oil in it and add salt according to taste and then mix it well. When the oil and salt are mixed well in the flour, then you have to add water slowly and knead the flour like dough and make small balls of it.
Now you have to take each balls and fill dal inside it. Fill only that much dal so that it does not come out of the Kachori. You have to make a hole in the balls with light hand and fill it with dal with a spoon and with the help of thumb cover it completely with flour from above.
Now you have to take another big pan and fill half of it with oil, you have to take this pan to fry the Kachori.
You do not have to heat the oil too much, keep the gas stove on low flame, as soon as the oil gets a little hot, you have to put all the Kachoris in the oil and let it cook on low flame for about half an hour.
You have to flip the kachori with the help of a small spoon or a light wire. You should not flip the kachori with a big spoon because the sharp edge of the spoon will break the kachori and they will get filled with oil. You have to let all the kachoris puff up. When the color of the kachori becomes light brown, you have to take the kachori out of the pan and you can serve them to the guests and you can also eat the kachori yourself.
